About our company

My name is Frank Podgwaite. Years of involvement in home and building maintenance led me to develop "Freezeblock™," a real solution to the water and moisture problems resulting from ice dams. The idea worked so well I applied for a patent. You may read about U.S. Patent Number 5953861 for further details concerning the Freezeblock gutter system.

The picture on the left shows me holding a small sample of the Freezeblock gutter showing the special sealing channel feature that grips the underlayment. This unique channel is the heart of the Freezeblock system - unifying the gutter to the underlayment preventing water seepage into the structure.
